A company named ABI Research thinks that there will be over 460 million mobile TV subscribers by the year 2012, reports cellular-news.
Research director Mike Wolf said consumers “are being increasingly enticed by better experiences,” and the report itself states that more content and better pricing options are drawing more and more consumers to the service. ABI sees the Asia-Pacific region showing the most growth, expecting them to grow from the 24 million subscribers in 2007 to 260 million by 2012.
Now’s the time to jump into the mobile TV game if you haven’t already, apparently.
