Helio CEO Sky Dayton has stepped down from his position as CEO to become chairman of the board, while president and COO Wohnee Sull will replace his position, reports mocoNews.
No stranger to the position of CEO, having been CEO of the SK Telecom/Earthlink venture as well as other positions, Dayton often steps down from day-to-day managing after several years, according to Helio’s press release. “For the past three years, Wonhee and I have worked closely to build Helio, which has seen record growth, introduced over a dozen U.S. industry firsts and established itself in the marketplace as a one-of-a-kind premium mobile service,” said Dayton. “Helio has reached a point in its development where I feel the timing is right for this change.”
