The team at IntoMobile found a post at a forum called PPCGeeks that tells you how to flash a new ROM and unlock the existing, but dormant, GPS hardware available in the Sprint Mogul.
The Mogul includes both GPS and EVDO Rev. A hardware, but the current version of ROM doesn’t allow their use. Sprint has promised a new, official ROM coming in the first quarter of this year, but if you just can’t wait for GPS functionality this might be for you. The leaked ROM doesn’t unlock the EVDO Rev. A hardware, but an inside source claimed that this is in the final stages of testing.
It’s all a little buggy so be sure to check out the thread before you go voiding your warranty.
