An unconfirmed report has recently been found correct: Verizon Wireless and Palm will soon release a WinMo 6 upgrade for the Treo 700wx. Yes I know the above pic is with Sprint but you’re going to have to deal.
An internal Palm document has been leaked that says Verizon Treo 700wx Update 1.24 will soon be released, which will include Windows Mobile 6 Professional. And yes, the upgrade will be for 6.0 not the more up to date 6.1.
The upgrade will be 100% free of charge and is set to launch during Spring or Summer of 2008.
