Our boy Kevin at CrackBerry has made another hands on video of a pre-released BlackBerry, this time of the BlackBerry Curve 8900, formally known as the BlackBerry Javelin. According to Kevin, you can think of the Curve 8900 in two ways: as a 83xx Curve on steroids or a toned-down BlackBerry Bold.
Hmmm, Curve 8900, Bold or BlackBerry Storm? Make sure to ask Kevin when you see him at the BlackBerry Cool 15.

We were probably a little hasty a few weeks ago in promoting the launch of RIM’s new BlackBerry Upgrades website… probably because OS 4.5 still wasn’t available for most people. However, it’s just come to our attention that OS 4.5 download links for the BlackBerry Curve 8310 and 8320 are now available. Click the link below to download and spread the word!

The devilish chaps over at IntoMobile just sent me an email saying that Virgin Mobile Canada is set to carry the BlackBerry Curve 8330 starting in November for $99 on a three year contract. Currently, Virgin only carries the BlackBerry Pearl 8130, which may seem like a small selection (it is), but Virgin is all about the cheap plans. You can see their BlackBerry Bundle monthly plan chart after the jump.
