Here is the launch video for the i.TV application for iPhone. I’ve been writing about i.TV for a little while now and I’ve used their application on several occasions. The best time to use i.TV is when you and your friend/spouse have one of those “what movie should we see?” moments. You just whip out your iPhone, and play a couple trailers.
Doesn’t this video remind you of the old Mac ads? Just the part with the droids staring at the screen in a 1984 kind of way.

Radar is reporting that the T-Mobile G1 launch party was filled with models for hire. Jack White, Jay-Z and DJ Cassidy all made appearances at the party. Here is what the Radar reporter had to say, he was clearly still on a natural high from being surrounded by so many babes:
And then there were the models. Seriously, at one point, it seemed like every other female in the room—a large, loft-like space in Manhattan’s West Village—was some long-limbed, non-English speaking beauty. At a tech party, no less! What gives? Weird coincidence, or are nerds suddenly cool again?
The above picture is from Last Night’s Party and I bet it’s what the G1 launch party was like.

You have to hand it to AT&T for keeping their chin up and throwing a party even when the guest of honor can’t make it. AT&T’s NYC BlackBerry Bold launch party took place last night, and while the BlackBerry Bold was a little too fashionably late, Michael Phelps was there along with Madonna in video form. Oh yes, everyone in attendance received an IOU for a BlackBerry Bold.
Hmm, a launch event without the release of the launch device. Reminds us of that Rogers BlackBerry Pearl Flip event that happened a few weeks back. Is this the beginning of a trend?
