After spending time with the BlackBerry Storm during BBDC, it was a little hard to leave it behind. Thankfully, I did so with full knowledge that it would be returning to my awaiting hands very soon. Here’s the latest in BlackBerry Storm launch rumors for a variety of carriers:
PhoneArena is reporting that Verizon will begin selling the BlackBerry Storm in corporate Nov 15th and the following day at BestBuy locations. Ever since our initial Nov 4th post, the release date has been pushed back one day at a time. While we’ve been currently hearing the 19th from our sources, it’s close enough to not matter too much.
BlackBerry News seems to be wavering back and forth between a November 7th and 11th release date for the Vodafone BlackBerry Storm. CSRs place pricing at around £350 ($538 USD). Please take a look at BBNews’ photos for this post, it made my day.
As we reported earlier today, it appears that Bell may receive the BlackBerry Storm on November 21st, shortly after the two releases above. I wonder if Telus will try to undercut them by releasing on the 20th.

As if the BlackBerry Cool 15 wasn’t enough of a reason to attend the BlackBerry Developer Conference. I just received an email from Verizon telling me that they’ll be displaying the BlackBerry Storm 9530 at DevCon!! Booth #501, baby! Expect a full hands on from BBCool at the show.
Awhile back, the Boy Genius Report casually mentioned that one of their readers had seen Verizon employees giving people on the street $20 for hands on testimonials with the BlackBerry storm. Apparently that reader was right and Boy Genius has the video.
The testimonials are highly enthusiastic, but remember, they were paid for them. I should note, though, that the only thing Verizon PR hasn’t done is get Ebert and Roper to do a special “BlackBerry Storm 2 thumbs waay up” infomercial.

Considering the amount of information Verizon ‘leaked’ about the BlackBerry Storm before the official press release last night, it’s not really surprising that they would air nationally televised commercials before anyone knows about the device.
Even though the video is grainy and it gives no real information about the device, I think it aptly depicts the exact moment the world stopped caring about the iPhone. Verizon’s PR department deserves a BIIIIG raise.

At this point, no one should be surprised that this Italian promotional video of the BlackBerry Storm has appeared on the Internet. However, what is surprising is just how sexy and chic the device comes across: it certainly looks as though the Storm can give any other handset a run for its money.
In addition to the exciting video above, CrackBerry.com has posted the latest ‘leaked’ information from the latest Verizon internal ‘Talking Up a Storm’ email mailout. You can read the mailout, which deals with the BlackBerry Storms’ global features after the jump.

We’re working pretty hard to confirm this right now, but it’s too exciting not to post, and falls in line with what has been reported recently on the blogs. A friendly tipster has been telling us that Verizon has settled on a firm launch date for the BlackBerry Storm 9530: November 4th. This would put the Storm launch two days after Verizon employees complete their Storm training, and right in line with famed rumor-monger Boy Genius’ ‘first week of November‘ time time line.
This is exciting news! That means the first touchscreen BlackBerry is almost exactly one month away. Too good to be true? We’ll do our best to find out for you.
PalmInfocenter found some information from industry analyst Tero Kuittinen that indicates Palm might be readying the Centro for T-Mobile as well as AT&T.
According to the report, which was posted at Seeking Alpha, Palm CFO Andrew Brown declined to comment when asked about a Centro on Verizon–likely due to their long delay in launching the Treo–but “giggle a little” when asked about T-Mobile.
There were also some comments that might be related to Nova, Palm’s upcoming OS update. Namely mentions of a “new user interface” and “software/hardware integration.”
